Current Health Update — October 2026
We’re pleased to announce an update to the Patient Facing App. This update includes a critical fix for Current Health tablets, and it will also be available for people using the app on their own Android and iOS devices.
What’s New
More reliable Welch Allyn blood pressure readings (Current Health tablets only). Readings that reach the tablet now continue through to the care team, even if the cuff disconnects. Retrying after a failed reading is also easier. For best results, keep the cuff on and the tablet nearby until the reading appears on screen.
App updates now finish on their own. Patients no longer need to tap Refresh to complete an update.
Setup screens are now available in 15 more languages.
Support for Android 16.
A clearer new font. Screens may look slightly different from printed guides, but none of the steps have changed.
