Problem Being Solved:
Clinicians using Display Mode currently cannot see signal quality indicators (e.g. low perfusion, high motion, device off arm) without clicking into individual patient views.
This creates friction in workflows, slows down decision-making, and increases the risk of missing important context, particularly for teams who rely heavily on Display Mode for monitoring large patient cohorts.
What’s new:
Signal quality indicators on patient tiles
Signal context is now surfaced directly in Display Mode, allowing clinicians to quickly identify when readings may be unreliable.Supported signal indicators:
Low perfusion
High motion
Device off arm
Device out of range
15-minute signal context view
New toggle between Latest and Last 15 minutes
Signal quality is based on the most recent 15-minute data window (aligned with timeline view)
Enhanced patient card UI
Signal alerts displayed prominently within the patient tile
Larger, more visible alert component for quick scanning across patients
New:
What this means:
Clinicians can now assess both vital values and signal quality at a glance, without needing to navigate into individual patient views.
This reduces clicks, improves efficiency, and makes it easier to identify when readings may require further investigation.
Why it matters:
Improves patient safety by reducing the likelihood of missed or misinterpreted data
Supports updated clinical workflows (e.g. identifying repeated poor signal across time windows)
Enables faster, more confident decision-making in high-volume monitoring environments
Aligns Display Mode with the context currently only available in detailed patient views
